Patiently restored

A mansion dating from the mid-19th century has been carefully and meticulously rescued and restored over eighteen years, to offer its finely furnished and decorated spaces and rooms to those who stay here.

Brick arches, wooden beams, stone walls and terracotta floors live side by side with the comfort you expect from a good hotel today.

Contemporary hospitality with an old soul

Sanbernabé Tres is a fresh take on contemporary hospitality, recreating the spaces and atmospheres of the past while making modern comfort and rest its main purpose.

Few places of this kind are offered to travellers in Guanajuato with a similar balance of price and quality.

Art in every corner

Meticulous in its décor, the house brings together a collection of Mexican and international art that it shares every day with its guests, for an exceptional experience of hospitality.

Landscape painting, sacred art, Talavera pottery, silverware and period furniture: every room feels like a small collection.

Silver Legacy

A garden with a mining memory

Inside the house there is a lovely garden with seating to gather, talk and rest, and the remains of an aqueduct from the days when the house belonged to Guanajuato’s oldest mining company. It is also the smoking area.

Guanajuato grew on the silver of its mines, and Sanbernabé Tres is part of that heritage: hence our motto, Silver Legacy.
