Historic center of Guanajuato

The suites

Six suites, six lotería cards

Each suite has a hand-painted tile on its door, like a card from the Mexican lotería, with its number, its name and its figure: a hill, a neighbourhood or a legend of Guanajuato. All of them include breakfast and share the calm of a 19th-century house.

Suite · No. 3

La Bufa

Its lotería card: the prickly pear

Cobalt-blue walls, a gilded wrought-iron headboard and contemporary sacred art.

Inspired by the hill that watches over Guanajuato, La Bufa is the most colourful suite in the house: cobalt-blue walls, a plaster shell above the gilded wrought-iron headboard, garnet cushions and an art collection that feels like a small gallery, including a contemporary Madonna and Child. A Moorish-style lantern and a little blue side table add character.
